THE PBA is lowering its ticket prices for the April 9 game day at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum as part of the league’s 50th anniversary celebration.
Fans can watch the Wednesday double-header for P50 for lower box and P30 for general admission. The league also announced that special anniversary t-shirts will also be given to in-venue fans.

Magnolia faces Converge and San Miguel battles Meralco for that play date, the same day that the PBA saw its first tip-off 50 years ago at the Araneta Coliseum.
The Beermen, the only remaining pioneer team when it was then known as Royal Tru-Orange, and Meralco, whose basketball history dates back to the old MICAA even before entering the PBA in 2010, are wearing retro jerseys for the main game.
The league opened with Mariwasa Noritake versus Concepion Carrier and Toyota battling U-Tex, with Joy Dionisio scoring the first-ever basket on April 9, 1975.
