STAR is almost set with its lineup for the upcoming PBA season after the signing of Robbie Herndon.

After locking this year's sixth overall pick to a two-year deal on Friday, the Hotshots are also looking at their second-round pick in Gwyne Capacio as the final piece of their opening-day roster.

“Halos kumpleto na yan eh,” Hotshots coach Chito Victolero told SPIN.ph. “Kasi yung natira sa akin, intact naman kami, so isa, dalawang player lang siguro (ang idadagdag), okay na.”

“Herndon and Capacio are still here – baka yun lang ang madagdag sa amin,” he added.

If the Hotshots also sign Capacio, they will have 17 players, including probably two practice players, in the roster then.

That will leave La Salle playmaker Tomas Torres, the Hotshots' third-round pick this year, and former Adamson wingman Gian Abrigo as the Hotshots' final cuts from their training roster.

“Medyo yung guard position ko, medyo talagang puno,” Victolero said, having a surplus at the backcourt led by Paul Lee, Mark Barroca, and Jio Jalalon. “Habang maaga pa, makakuha sila (Torres, Abrigo) ng team.”
