TERRENCE Romeo and CJ Perez make their eagerly awaited debuts for their respective teams when San Miguel collides with Columbian on Friday in the PBA Philippine Cup at the Cuneta Astrodome.
Romeo will be under the microscope in the first game of a Friday doubleheader as people will be curious to see how the flamboyant guard and volume shooter can fit in a star-studded team that has won multiple championships.
The former FEU star, at least, has been saying all the right things since coming in via trade with TNT for David Semerad, Brian Heruela, and a future first-round pick, saying he is ready to play any role in the Beermen's pursuit of a fifth all-Filipino title.
Perez, on the other hand, will be looking to live up to his billing as the No. 1 pick overall in the last PBA draft as he makes his Columbian debut along with fellow rookies JP Calvo and Jeepy Faundo.
In the second game, Rain or Shine goes up against NLEX with prodigal son Raymond Almazan delayed by a serious sprain.
The match will also see the NLEX debut of Poy Erram, who was traded to the Road Warriors by Blackwater after a breakout season with the Elite.
