WONDERING why Terrence Romeo was in civilian clothes and not playing in Game 3 of the PBA Commissioner's Cup finals?

As per San Miguel's health advisory, the prolific guard is suffering from tendonitis on his ankle that kept him out in Wednesday night's game against Magnolia at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Romeo watched the action in the San Miguel bench and is seen wearing protective boots on his left leg.

He is the second of San Miguel's bench players who were missed by the Beermen after Jericho Cruz, who served a one game suspension after incurring a total of five technical fouls during the conference.

Romeo sat out the entire best-of-five semifinals series against Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, but suited up for the first two games of the best-of-seven title series.

In the two games he played, the product of Far Eastern University averaged just 2.5 points in seven minutes of play, an indication he's still favoring the injury on his left ankle.
