TERRENCE Romeo is in line for a comeback during the resumption of the 2021 PBA Philippine Cup in Pampanga.
Terrence Romeo injury update
San Miguel team manager Gee Abanilla said Romeo has been practicing with the Beermen in Pampanga after suffering a hyperextended left knee during their first game against Meralco last July 18.

Abanilla admitted Romeo has not fully recovered from the injury but is confident he can already play sooner rather than later.
“Not a 100 percent but he has been joining the team already. I think he will be able to play when we resume,” said Abanilla.
In his lone game with the Beermen, the 29-year-old Romeo scored 18 points and added three rebounds, two assists, and a steal in 22 minutes of play in the game where San Miguel suffered a loss to Meralco.
Since then, San Miguel has got its rhythm going, winning the next three victories before play was stopped due to the rising cases of COVID-19.
The return of Romeo will definitely boost the Beermen’s chances of catching up with the early leaders Magnolia (4-0), TNT (3-0), and Meralco (4-1).
Romeo is aiming to have a better campaign in Pampanga. Last year during the Clark bubble, Romeo only played for three games after sustaining a dislocated shoulder, adding to the woes of the Beermen during that stint that already missed six-time PBA MVP June Mar Fajardo due to a fractured tibia.
