LET'S just say that Terrence Romeo's playoff match against former team NorthPort didn't end well.
It was also far from pleasant.
With seventh-seeded San Miguel Beer fighting for its playoff life in the PBA Commissioner's Cup, things got heated between the Beermen and the No. 2-ranked and twice-to-beat Batang Pier on Sunday night.
The game was fiercely fought and tempers inevitably flared late, with Romeo at the center of the spats against a NorthPort team that picked him fifth overall in the 2013 PBA Rookie Draft.
Romeo lost his cool after a couple of highly physical skirmishes with NorthPort guard Nico Elorde, who later figured in another shouting match with Chris Ross who he sent crashing out of the court with a hard shove.

The flamboyant Romeo was later called for an offensive foul against former teammate Elorde and was pulled out of the game by SMB coach Leo Austria before the situation got worse.
And before leaving the floor for good, the SMB guard had this 'sweet message' directed at someone in NorthPort's side of the floor.

Asked about the incident later, the former FEU star guard said whateve happened between him and his former teammate stayed on the court.
Romeo also expressed confidence that he'll learn to handle such situations better in the future.
"Matututo din ako sa ganung pangyayari na dapat mas maging matured ako, na dapat hindi ko na pinapatulan yung ganung mga bagay," he said.
