TERRENCE Romeo of San Miguel has been fined P20,000 for headbutting NLEX guard Philip Paniamogan during their PBA Governors Cup match last Friday in Dubai.
PBA commissioner Willie Marcial said league officials already decided on the fine in Dubai after talking to Romeo at the end of their match against the Road Warriors.
The San Miguel guard, however, was spared from a suspension.

Romeo was ejected at the 10:43 mark of the fourth quarter after replays showed him headbutting Paniamogan as he tried to elude the defense of the pesky NLEX guard during an inbounds play.
San Miguel won the match, 98-94.
Meanwhile, the PBA has yet to issue any penalty on Beerman Kelly Nabong, who was also ejected from the game after incurring two technical fouls for incessant complaining.
