TERRENCE Romeo faces a likely fine for 'foisting a stickum sign' aimed at the NorthPort bench during Sunday's PBA Commissioner's Cup game between the San Miguel Beermen and the Batang Pier at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The prolific shooting guard was caught on video and camera flashing the 'dirty finger sign' during a heated stretch of the game won by the seventh seeded Beermen, 98-84, that forged a sudden-death for a berth in the semifinals.

Commissioner Willie Marcial said league technical committee chief Eric Castro is now reviewing the game tape to determine for whom Romeo was trying to direct the dirty finger sign.

Marcial said the act has a corresponding fine of P2K onwards, depending if Romeo has committed the infraction previously.

During the game, the three-time scoring champion also got entangled in a physical play against former NorthPort teammate Nico Elorde, which resulted in a double technical on the two players.

Romeo later said the incident was no big deal, adding the physical plays are all part of the game and which he just leaves inside the court.

The quarterfinals showdow is the first playoffs meeting between Romeo and NorthPort since their bitter parting of ways last year.

The Batang Pier, who selected Romeo with the no. 5 pick in the 2013 draft, traded the former UAAP MVP from Far Eastern University to TnT Katropa in exchange for Mo Tautuaa.
