NEEDLESS to say, Terrence Romeo had nothing but gratitude when he gave his parting shot after the trade that had him moving from GlobalPort to TNT KaTropa.
The wantaway guard went to Instagram to thank everyone from GlobalPort owner Mikee Romero to the team's support staff to its fans shortly after he along with Yousef Taha were sent to TNT in exchange for Mo Tautuaa and two future draft picks.
Romeo expressed his gratitude to the team that picked him No. 5 overall in the 2013 PBA Rookie Draft for what he said was a 'good start' to his pro career.'
"First of all, I would like to thank God dahil binigyan nya ko ng magandang simula sa PBA thru Globalport," said the former Far Eastern University star in a post on his account @tbvromeO7. "Kay Boss Mikee, salamat po sa suporta mula ng nagumpisa ako."
He proceeded to thank all the managers, past and present, as well as the coaches, making special mention of Franz Pumaren, Ritchie Ticzon, and Eric Gonzales who he said 'taught him a lot.'
Not surprisingly, there was no mention of current coach Pido Jarencio, who he had a spat with in what turned out to be his final game with the Batang Pier.
There was also no mention of longtime team manager and board governor Erick Arejola.
However, Romeo was in a more combative mood when he went to Twitter to react to a SPIN.ph story quoting a high-ranking GlobalPort official who asked not to be named.
The flamboyant guard hinted that 'source' may very well be the same one who worked for the ouster of players who he didn't want in the team.
Here's his tweet:
