TERRENCE Romeo just couldn't shake off the injury bug.
The flamboyant guard suffered a dislocated left pinky finger in the second half of San Miguel's dominant 128-108 win over Phoenix in the 2019 PBA Commissioner's Cup on Wednesday.
"Na-dislocate," his curt reply was on his injury.
Romeo hurt his pinkie after colliding with Dave Marcelo at the 1:27 mark of the third frame and he exited the game moments later.
He did not return, registering 13 points in a 3-of-4 shooting from deep, to go with four assists and three rebounds.
Romeo has already missed the Beermen's first seven games in the second conference due to an inflamed Achilles tendon.
Coach Leo Austria, meanwhile, is non-committal if this latest injury will put Romeo once again on the shelf.
"Hindi pa namin alam. Basta na-dislocate lang yung daliri niya," he said.
San Miguel is making a late run to the playoffs with its 4-5 record, stringing its first winning streak in the midseason conference.
