TERRENCE Romeo is just glad that he is now on the same team as Arwind Santos.
“Excited ako,” Romeo said of his new teammate at San Miguel Beer.
The two former Far Eastern University stars from different batches are now teaming up with San Miguel after Romeo was traded from TNT to the Beermen.
Romeo said he is happy to be teammates with Santos as he knows how tough it is to be an opponent of the San Miguel veteran.
On offense, Romeo said he will also have a lot of options especially in a pick-and-roll situation alongside four-time MVP June Mar Fajardo.
“Excited ako at saka mas mapapadali ‘yung buhay ko kasi kapag nag-pick and roll ako, hindi na nila ako puwedeng i-trap kasi malilibre si Kuya Arwind,” said Romeo.
Santos expressed his support to Romeo in the midst of negative reports surrounding the former TNT guard following the fallout from his former team.
While he is thankful for Santos’ support, Romeo though insisted he is not affected by his bashers, reiterating that he will let his game do the talking.
At the same time, hindi na lang more on salita.
