GLOBALPORT star Terrence Romeo has become the latest player to take a hit as players’ fines continues to mount in the PBA Governors Cup.

The prolific shooting guard was slapped a P2,600 fine for 'disrespectfully addressing an official' leading to a technical foul during the Batang Pier’s 133-106 blowout loss to Alaska on Wednesday night at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

Romeo was whistled for consecutive dribbling violations in the second period which the Gilas Pilipinas stalwart vocally protested, resulting in a technical foul against him.

During the post game interview, the 24-year-old pride of Imus, Cavite admitted being annoyed by the call.

“May mga ibang part ng game na pumasok yung inis sa isip ko,” he said.

“God bless na lang doon sa tatlo, ayokong pangalanan, pero ang popogi nila,” added Romeo in sarcastic tone, apparently referring to the three who officials who called the game.

It is yet to be known whether Romeo’s post-game comments would also earn him a separate penalty.
