ANTIPOLO CITY – Terrence Jones is happy that his son who has Filipino lineage can experience the culture of his roots through his stint with TNT in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
Jones said his son Ajani has Filipino roots, and he has also brought him to the country as he plays for TNT in the Commissioner’s Cup.
The former NBA cager is glad that his 8-year-old son will be able to experience the Filipino culture through his stint in the PBA.
“It’s going to be very important mainly because he is a Filipino,” said the 27-year-old Jones, who incidentally has the same birthday (January 9) as his son.
So far, Jones said he has been enjoying his stint in the Philippines more so since in his first game, he dropped 41 points in TNT’s 102-87 win over NLEX.
“He is going to see his culture and where his family is from. It’s going to be fun,” said Jones.
