TEAM B, led by Jericho Cruz, went on target from all ranges to win the Shooting Stars side event in the PBA All-Star weekend on Sunday.
The Rain or Shine rising star knocked down a three-pointer from half court to finish the five-spot course with still 48 seconds left.
Cruz, who teamed up with women’s tournament star Tanya dela Merced, Batang PBA counterpart Stacey Tibayan, and a lucky fan, beat Terrence Romeo and Scottie Thompson’s team.
Romeo’s squad finished the event with 38 seconds remaining on the clock, while Thompson’s side, however, failed to make it in time.
