Titan out to build winning streak
Titan is seeking to create its first winning streak in its young franchise history in its match-up against San Miguel. The Giant Risers arrested a losing slide when they beat Blackwater, 97-86, last November 5.
Free throws need improvement
San Miguel escaped with a two-point victory over Magnolia even after its ugly free throw shooting performance where it only made 16-of-29.
Cjay Perez was only 4-of-10, including two misses in the final seconds that allowed the Hotshots to still have a shot at winning the game in the last possession. Even June Mar Fajardo couldn’t connect on a consistent basis in the contest, going 6-of-11.
Calvin Abueva must score big
For Titan Ultra to have a better chance of winning, Calvin Abueva must score, and must score a lot.

Abueva is averaging 32 points per game in the pair of victories the Giant Risers possess. That does not include the 31 he registered during their loss to Rain or Shine. San Miguel’s defense is expected to pay special attention to Abueva for Wednesday night’s game.
