CONVERGE reserve guard Mac Tallo has been summoned to appear before PBA commissioner Willie Marcial on Monday after photos and videos on social media showed him playing in an unsanctioned game in Cebu last week.
Marcial said he will give Tallo the chance to air his side on the latest 'ligang labas' caper to hit the pro league, which came to light when videos and photos of the Converge guard playing in the Sinulog Cup last January 27 were posted on social media.

Converge team manager Jacob Lao already confirmed to SPIN.ph that the six-foot guard out of Southwestern University did not seek his PBA ballclub's permission to play in the Sinulog Cup game.
The team, he added, will also move for the termination of the two-year contract Tallo signed prior to the start of the season that pays him P300,000 a month.
Marcial said he will make a decision once he hears both sides.

At the same time, Marcial revealed that two other players - Converge guard Alec Stockton and Phoenix veteran RR Garcia - have been given permission to play in a charity game in Cebu over the weekend.
However, the PBA commissioner has warned teams to seek the league's permission for such games well ahead of time, saying officials need to do due diligence before granting permission.
Marcial noted that Garcia and Stockton were already in Cebu when the requests were coursed through their teams.
"We need more time next time," the commissioner said. "Kasi we need to check the courts and playing conditions. Semento ba [ang court?] Di ba delikado? Those are the things that we need to look into.
"We have to ensure the safety of our players."
