HE may be idolized by many, but basketball star James Yap turns into a No. 1 fan when it comes to his movie-star son Bimby.
The two-time PBA MVP said he is so proud of his mini-me now that the six-year old kid is starring in the 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival movie My Little Bossings, which this early is being predicted to be a certified hit.

“Number one fan ako ni Baby James." - San Mig Coffee forward James Yap
“Number one fan ako ni Baby James,” disclosed the San Mig Coffee stalwart to Spin.ph on Christmas, the same day the movie also starring popular host and comedian Vic Sotto, child wonder Ryza Mae Dizon, and Yap’s ex-wife and celebrated personality Kris Aquino opens in movie theaters.
While he may not be with his son on this especial day, Yap promised to watch the first-ever movie of his son.
And despite his status as one of the most well-known basketball stars in the country today, he isn’t shy to admit he’s the No.1 supporter of Bimby.
“Syempre naman super proud ako,” said Yap. “Ganyan ka naman talaga pag tatay ka lagi ka susuporta sa anak mo.”
