LUCK just smiled on Rey Suerte to start the year.
The Blackwater guard inked a new two-year deal with the franchise on Thursday after a stellar stint in the PBA Commissioner's Cup where he was among the bright spots in the Bossing roster.
Suerte was accompanied by his wife and representative Danny Espiritu when he signed the extension with team manager Johnson Martinez representing Blackwater.

Terms of the contract were not disclosed as is the practice in the PBA.
He averaged 12.0 and 4.0 rebounds in 11 games for the Bossing in the season-opening meet, where his team finished second to last with a 1-10 record.
Suerte, a former University of the East stalwart, was a second round pick of Blackwater during the 2019 special Gilas Pilipinas draft.
