STEPHEN Holt is with Barangay Ginebra for the long haul after signing a three-year contract extension on Saturday.
The 2024 Rookie of the Year inked the deal just in time for opening day where the Gin Kings will be taking part as they face Magnolia on Sunday at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
Holt will be entering his second season with Barangay Ginebra after being acquired in a deal with Terrafirma prior to the 2024-25 season.

Holt averaged 11.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.0 steals for Barangay Ginebra during the 49th season and has become known for being one of the elite defenders of the league.
Holt is expected to play an even bigger role with the Gin Kings after Jamie Malonzo left the team to play for Kyoto in the Japan B.League.
Holt signed the contract at the San Miguel Corp. headquarters with his agent Marvin Espiritu of the Espiritu Manotoc Basketball Management.
