STAR has signed rookie Robbie Herndon on Friday.
After trading for the Herndon, the sixth overall pick, on draft night from GlobalPort, which got three players in return, the Hotshots signed the Filipino-American wingman to a two-year contract.
Herndon signed the contract, details of which were not divulged, at the Ronac gym after practice in the presence of Star team manager Alvin Patrimonio.
“It's finally getting real,” Herndon told SPIN.ph just moments after signing his deal. “It's almost like a dream come true. I'm just blessed, man. I'm super thankful and I'm really happy at the moment, and I'm just glad that all the hard work's paid off, and I'm glad for everybody that's given me the opportunity.
