A fight erupted during a scrimmage between Columbian Dyip and NorthPort on Tuesday following a punching incident involving three players including Batang Pier star Stanley Pringle.
Sketchy reports which reached SPIN.ph had Pringle and big man Jay-R Reyes getting entangled while going for a rebound.
The two wrestled as they both went down to the floor as players of both sides tried to separate them.
NorthPort was leading Colombian Dyip, 87-64, with seven minutes left in the fourth quarter when the incident happened.
Just as Pringle and Reyes were separated, NorthPort big man Mo Tautuaa entered the picture and sneaked in a punch that left the Columbian veteran center with a bloodied nose.
The game held at the Green Meadows gym was stopped at that point.
SPIN.ph is open to hear both sides on the matter as they have yet to respond to messages.
Reyes was later taken to the Cardinal Santos hospital for treatment, sources said.
PBA teams have been using the two-week break in the Philippine Cup to scrimmage against each other while the final window of the FIBA World Cup qualifiers is ongoing.
