SPIN.PH finds a million reasons to celebrate with friends and readers as it celebrates its second-year anniversary with a series of viewing parties at the New Orleans Cafe on Bonifacio High Street.
The country's first standalone sports website has invited friends to a morning of fun, good food, prizes and good ol' sports banter just before Game One of the NBA Finals between the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs - shown in partnership with partnership with BTV and NBA Premium - on Friday.
Registration begins at 8 a.m.
Also on the guest list are loyal readers who have faithfully followed Spin.ph since it launched in June 2012 with the coverage of the first Manny Pacquiao-Timothy Bradley fight in Las Vegas.
Since then, Spin.ph has hit several milestones, breaching the million mark in unique users (1.14 million) and coming just short of 10 million (9.8 million) page views by the end of May.
Fittingly enough, its social media accounts have also reached watershed marks on Facebook (200,000-plus friends) and Twitter (30,000 followers).
"This is our humble way of thanking our advertisers, sponsors, friends, and loyal readers," said Marilyn Dee-See, general manager of Pep Inc. which also manages the top entertainment website PEP.ph.
Another viewing party will be hosted by Spin.ph when the NBA best-of-seven finals moves to Miami for Game Three on Wednesday.
