MARK Nonoy led the top performers in the skills tests during Day One of the PBA Draft Combine on Wednesday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

The La Salle guard was among the fastest in this year’s batch of rookies, clocking 2.862 seconds in the sprint test.

The 5-foot-9 Nonoy was even one of the highest leapers during the combine where he registered 53 inches in the running vertical jump, even doing better than the aspirants taller than him.

DJ Mitchell, meanwhile, topped the lane agility test with the current Manila Stars player of the MPBL clocking 11.49 seconds to also become one of the fastest among the 62 rookies who attended the combine.

Michael Malonzo of National University finished first in the standing vertical jump and running vertical jump with 43 inches respectively.

Brandon Ramirez had the fastest reaction time with 358 milliseconds.
