PLAYERS of this PBA team are on their toes as its roster is teeming with talent that only two or three are indispensable while the rest are replaceable depending on how they perform in the ongoing Commissioner’s Cup.
As per SPIN.ph sources, aside from its active 15-man roster, the team also has other players under contract that are on the reserve list and just waiting in the wings, but are actually good enough to crack the lineup of other ballclubs in the league.

That’s the reason why most of the players are making sure not to fall on the bad side of their coach or of management so as not to fall off the radar.
As they say, one miss and you die.
“Kaya maingat yung mga players ngayon. Hindi ka basta-basta puwedeng petik o gagawa ng kalokohan. Baka mawala ka sa paningin ni coach,” one source privy to the situation inside the team said.

Why NU, FEU-D missed out on NBTC National Finals
FAR Eastern University-Diliman and NU Nazareth School are fighting tooth and nail for the UAAP Season 88 boys basketball crown.
But there's no doubt that their presence will sorely missed in the Smart-NBTC National Finals which started on Sunday.
Scheduling conflicts with the UAAP forced the hand of organizers to award the allocated UAAP slots to the next best eligible teams - in this case, De La Salle Zobel and Ateneo.
Ateneo, however, declined which handed University of the East the spot.
Game One of the Finals was on Sunday, where Cabs Cabonilas helped the Baby Tamaraws get the 77-73 win over the Bullpups.
Game Two is set on Thursday, all coinciding with the National Finals.
Traditionally, champions and runner-ups of the UAAP and NCAA are directly qualified to the Philippine national 19-under championship, which explains the spots given to Letran and Arellano.
Still, the Junior Archers and the Junior Warriors are as competitive as they come as they are still part of the Super 32 round on Monday.
DLSZ, behind Mythical Team member Maco Dabao, is relishing its first ever stint in the Nationals, while UE is looking at this as a swansong for coach Karl Santos and the Strong Group Athletics.
