IF Ginebra wants to storm back from a 1-3 deficit in the PBA Philippine Cup semifinals against San Miguel, then its ‘Never Say Die’ mantra must be lived and not merely spoken.

That’s coming from the guy who brought the famed ‘NSD’ attitude life and turned Ginebra into the most popular franchise in the pro league today.

Jaworski left the Mall of Asia Arena a disappointed man after Ginebra was blown out of the building by an in-form San Miguel squad, 102-81, in Game Four of their best-of-seven playoff.

“Hindi sinasabi iyon eh, ginagawa,” said Jaworski when asked about Ginebra’s never-say-die mantra in the wake of the disappointing victory.

“I want to say that they are tired. I wanna say that to get back in the series, they got to do more than what they did tonight,” he added.

Jaworski was appalled by Ginebra’s lack of focus in an all-important game. Ginebra’s play was so bad on both ends that Jaworski was left dumbfounded by the squad’s sheer lack of effort.

“Ngayon lang ulit ako nanood ng live. I always watched on TV but there were times when I wasn’t able to watch. Today, they weren’t playing,” Jaworski continued.

“Their focus was not there. I don’t know why. Walang focus e,” he added.

Asked if he’s confident of a Ginebra fightback, Jaworski said that they’re gonna have to work triple time if they want to make a series out of this.

But the Ginebra legend didn't exactly optimistic.

“Well look, they’re (San Miguel) shooting threes and you are not even defending. What will happen, di ba?” Jaworski said. “They’re picking apples, yung mga tumitira ng three points.

"(The Kings) got to work their butts off.”
