MONTALBAN - It was a short night for NLEX coach Jong Uichico after being ejected late in the first half of the team's PBA Commissioner's Cup game against Meralco.
The soft-spoken mentor was thrown out with 2:12 remaining in the second quarter for physically contacting a game official with NLEX trailing, 42-29.

The reaction came when no whistle came in the Road Warriors’ offensive play where Robert Bolick faked and tried to make a shot against the tight defense of Cliff Hodge.
The sequence led to a CJ Cansino basket off a transition.
“It happens,” Uichico told SPIN.ph inside the NLEX dugout shortly after the halftime break.
