THE spirit of Christmas is still strong with Ronald Tubid.

The San Miguel Beer wingman bared his decision to grow a beard, saying he wanted to be his daughter Margaret’s own Santa Claus.

“Bago lang mag-Christmas, sabi ko sa daughter ko na I want to be your Santa Claus, and it just so happened na nakahiligan ko and I don’t have time to shave it.”

“Hopefully hindi ko pa ma-shave,” he added with a chuckle. “Hangga’t hindi pa nagrereklamo yung baby girl ko.”

And Tubid, who has averaged 7.3 points and 1.8 rebounds in 20.1 minutes in the first six games of the series, is hoping they can pull it off — for his daughter and the rest of his family.
