BLACKWATER isn't done dealing.
Paul Zamar has been shipped to San Miguel in exchange for a pair of the Beermen's second rounders.
Sources closely monitoring the situation confirmed that trade papers are already in place as San Miguel will part ways with its 2021 and 2022 second round picks.
Zamar has established himself as a deadshot gunner after joining the Elite in the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup coming off from his triumphant stint in the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL) with Mono Vampire of Thailand.
He averaged 10.14 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.86 assists, and 0.71 steals in the seven games he played in the Commissioner's Cup, and while norming 9.56 points, 4.44 rebounds, 1.22 assists, 0.44 steals, and 0.11 blocks in the season-ending Governors' Cup.
This is the second draft day deal for Blackwater after earlier sending JP Erram in exchange for first rounders Paul Desiderio and Abu Tratter.
The deal will also reunite Zamar with his father, San Miguel assistant coach Boycie.
