SAN Miguel got a good preseason catch after acquiring free agent Kris Rosales.
Coach Jorge Gallent confirmed the team's acquisition of the veteran guard after he was released by Northport.
Rosales showed up with the Beermen during the PBA Media Day at Le Parc on Monday.

"We expressed interest in him after we learned he was released by Northport," said Gallent.
"He's a good catch for us."
Curiously, Rosales had just signed a one-year contract extension with the Batang Pier just last June 7 after being acquired in the Robert Bolick trade.
Ben Adamos, another player who arrived from NLEX via that Bolick trade, was also signed to a one-year contract by the Batang Pier on the same day.
Adamos was traded to Ginebra last July 15 for Sidney Onwubere.
Gallent said the team called up Rosales and invited him during practice to take a look at how he fits into the SMB system.
"After a few days he showed up and started practicing with us," said the San Miguel coach. "So after seeing him play, sabi namin bakit hindi."
The addition of Rosales, according to Gallent, gives San Miguel another option at the wing.
"Kapag andun siya tsaka si Marcio, hindi nila (opposition) alam sino ang iro-rotatan. So good catch for us," added Gallent.
