San Miguel considering John Holland as Dez Wells replacement

JOHN Holland is one of the imports being considered by San Miguel to replace Dez Wells, according to a person with knowlege of the situation.

Holland is one of the imports on the radar of the Beermen, who are considering making a change in import following the health situation of Wells.

Wells sat Wednesday's game against Blackwater as he is still bothered by a ankle sprain in his left foot he suffered two weeks ago against Meralco.

Holland, 31, has NBA experience having played separate brief stints with the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Boston University standout, after being left undrafted in the NBA in 2011, played in Europe particularly in Spain and France.
