SAN Miguel Beer coach Leo Austria is requesting help for June Mar Fajardo, who carried the Beermen on his back in their 103-97 loss to Alaska in the PBA Philippine Cup on Wednesday night.

Apart from Fajardo, who posted a career-high 43 points along with 20 rebounds, only two other Beermen in Alex Cabagnot and Arwind Santos finished in double digits against the Aces.

“He needs some help from the players,” Austria said, particularly mentioning Marcio Lassiter, who is still recovering from minor injuries.

“We really miss Marcio,” Austria said. “I think 'yun ang missing link. Nagkukulang kami sa rotation and he never contributed on offense and defense.”

“But I’m sure in the near future na talagang makakabalik na yan,” he was quick to add.
