TERRENCE Romeo is officially on the trading block, and the spitfire TNT KaTropa guard may find himself on another powerhouse team if things pan out.
San Miguel is said to be taking a gamble on the disgruntled guard from FEU, and is prepared to part with two players and a pair of future first-round picks to get TNT to agree to a deal.
Sources close to the situation bared the development following TNT's decision to part with Romeo after the flamboyant guard went AWOL for the past month. He also missed the team's Christmas party last week.
One of the sources also bared that Romeo is not seeing eye-to-eye with the team management and a number of his teammates, with the top brass now opting to part ways with the three-time scoring champion.
The Beermen, although apparently one of the most interested teams, remains 50-50 with the deal, acknowledging the big risk they are going to take if they indeed acquire the temperamental Romeo in exchange of the fringe players, as well as its first rounders in the 2019 and 2020 drafts.
Romeo previously had his outbursts, with the most notable a shouting match against NorthPort coach Pido Jarencio during one of their games this past season.
It didn't take long before he found himself shipped to TNT.
