A PBA import recently had one of his best performances of the tournament despite pulling off an all-nighter prior to the game.
A source said this import enjoyed the night a little bit too much on the eve of one of their games, so much so that he hardly got some shut eye afterwards.
He only got some sleep alright hours before the game when he was already in the venue, the source added.
That ‘power nap,' however, proved to be enough for this import, who hardly lost a step and even led his team to a lopsided victory.

Similar incidents involving imports aren't really new, but at least in this case, he was able to maintain his high level of play on the court.

Alyssa Solomon the next prized catch in PVL draft?
There’s a slim yet still likely chance that the top prospect of the 2026 PVL Rookie Draft might not even come from this year’s batch of UAAP or NCAA standouts.
With her one-year Japan SV.League deal lapsed, Alyssa Solomon could emerge as the best available talent if she’d ultimately decide to enter the draft class.
She had her chance last year to join fellow National U champion and eventual No. 1 pick Bella Belen, but opted to take her talents to Japan instead.
And as per PVL rules, Solomon has to apply for the draft and can’t be signed as a free agent without prior playing experience in the PVL’s pro league era.
But will she join the draft?
SPIN.ph asked a high-profile UAAP senior player on whether being drafted first overall could be a possibility for her, given that she’s already firm on entering the draft by the end of Season 88.
