ANTIPOLO – Maverick Ahanmisi is open to all possibilities available to him now that he’ll be entering free agency once again come PBA Season 51.
The veteran guard played the last two conferences with Terrafirma after he was acquired in a trade with Barangay Ginebra along with Aljon Mariano for the Dyip’s first-round pick next year.
After initially struggling with the team, Ahanmisi appeared to have finally settled down with the Dyip, allowing them to be competitive in the season-ending Governors Cup.

But whether he stay with the franchise or move on remains to be seen.
“I don’t know man, Whatever God has planned for me. I’ll talk to my agent after this,” he said when asked by SPIN.ph about his plans for the future.
But the former No. 3 overall pick expressed gratitude to Terrafirma for allowing him again to become the player that he is.
“I’m just blessed to be in this position, still playing basketball, and still enjoying the game that I love to play,” he said, “I appreciate coach Ronald [Tubid], the coaching staff, the management for allowing me to be here.
“So I’m just really grateful for this team.”
Should this be Ahanmisi’s final game with Terrafirma, he sure made an impression.
He tallied a triple-double of 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 14 assists in the Dyip’s 149-117 clobbering of Titan Ultra on Saturday at the Ynares Center.
The Dyip finished the conference with a 5-7 record.
Ahanmisi though, said Terrafirma will always be a major consideration when he decides the direction his career will be trekking by next year.
“For sure, for sure,” he repeated.
He first became an unrestricted free agent when his contract with Converge expired in 2023, eventually opting to take his act to Barangay Ginebra.
