Norwood-led side rules Shooting Stars ahead of PBA All-Star game

CALASIAO, Pangasinan—The team led by Gabe Norwood of Rain or Shine won the Shooting Stars, a side event for the PBA All-Star Game on Sunday at the Calasiao Sports Complex.

Norwood, who traces his roots here, teamed up with Double V Productions chief Vijay Vasandani, and JP Galvez timed one minute, 25.6 seconds to win the event also joined by two teams led by Alex Cabagnot and Chris Ross.

Teams must make five shots in different spots on the court, with the team with the shortest time winning the competition.

It was even Vasandani, who serves as the promoter of the All-Star Game here as well as out-of-town games in this municipality who converted the halfcourt shot.
