SUNDAY'S first game in the 2015 PBA Governors Cup pits San Miguel Beer and GlobalPort. Both teams benches will once again feature the only set of twins in the league right now.

It's not the first time their respective teams are playing against each other in the PBA. But there still are some people who keep asking me on Twitter if they are the first set of twins to ever play in the PBA.

For the record, Fil-Aussies 6-4 3/10 Anthony Semerad of GlobalPort and 6-3 4/5 David Semerad of San Miguel Beer aren't the first set of twins to ever play in the PBA.

They are actually only the third set of twins but they're the tallest no doubt. In fact, they're not even the first set of twins to have played for San Beda in college before turning pro.

But are they the most handsome PBA twins ever for the girls out there? You be the judge.

The first set of twins to play in the PBA were 5-9 Jose 'Jing' Aldanese and 5-9 1/2 Manuel 'Noli' Aldanese who were actually teammates for the CFC Presto Ice Cream Makers squad in 1975. Both were former FEU Tamaraws as well.

The Aldaneses were followed in 1982 by 5-10 Joel Guzman of Galerie Dominique and 5-10 Noel Guzman of N-Rich/Great Taste.

According to the 1982 PBA Annual, the Guzmans were a "celebrated San Beda twins act of the late 70s" but were never the same again on the basketball court when they got separated in the pros.

Being former Red Lions who went on to play in the PBA, it would be nice if the Semerads and the Guzmans get together and share experiences, don't you think?

If so, the question is, where are the Guzman twins?
