SCOTTIE Thompson hit new heights in a sky-rocketing career on Wednesday night, winning Finals MVP honors after playing a key role in Ginebra's run to the championship in the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup.
The do-it-all guard out of Perpetual Help averaged 10.8 points, 7.7 rebounds and 5.2 assists in the 4-2 win over San Miguel in the best-of-seven title series to get the nod of members of the PBA Press Corps.
The 6-1 guard capped his series-long brilliance with a 13-rebound, 12-rebound performance in the title-clinching 93-77 win over the Beermen.
