JUSTIN Brownlee and Scottie Thompson bagged the top individual awards of the PBA Season 46 Governors’ Cup.
Brownlee claimed the second Best Import award of his career, but his first in the Governors’ Cup campaign that saw him lead the Gins back to the finals for the fourth time.
Thompson won his first BPC award after his outstanding play in the Governors’ Cup, enabling the Gins to reach the finals despite being the sixth seed in the eliminations.
Thompson received the trophy shortly after Justin Brownlee received the Best Import award, becoming the first teammates since Terrence Jones and Jayson Castro won the individual plums in the 2019 Commissioner’s Cup for TNT.

Brownlee and Thompson won the awards in overwhelming fashion.
Brownlee got the nod of media, players, and the PBA aside from topping the statistical race for a total of 1,275 points, with Mike Harris of Magnolia in far second with 795.
Tony Bishop of Meralco was third with 739, while Cameron Clark of NLEX placed fourth with 443.
Thompson also got the overwhelming vote of media, players, and the PBA, despite being second in the statistical race for a total of 1,128 points. Mikey Williams of TNT was second with 699, followed by Robert Bolick of NorthPort (581), Arwind Santos of NorthPort (428), and Matthew Wright of Phoenix (416).
