CHICAGO -- All's well that ends well.
After a brief joust where Schonny Winston did not play for Converge for three games at the Kadayawan Invitational Basketball Tournament in Davao City last week, a move that was countered by a threat of stiff penalties, labor peace has been reached.

Per multiple sources, the 6-foot-4, 190-lb guard has agreed to sign a contract extension with the FiberXers. The deal, SPIN.ph has learned learned, is worth the PBA max of P420,000 a month for two years.
Winston's original deal with Converge was set to expire this September 17.
One of the league's rising stars, the Fil-Am guard averaged 16 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists during the Philippine Cup.
