PHOENIX Super LPG resumes its campaign in the PBA 50th Season Governors’ Cup on Friday, with its three remaining games crucial to its playoff hopes - and those of its opponents, as well.
The squad of Charles Tiu had a promising start to the conference when it won its first three games, but has since lost three of its last four.

The Fuel Masters are currently in a tie for second with Rain or Shine at 4-3 in Group B, where the race for the three remaining quarterfinal berths his about to hit fever pitch.
Fight to the Phoenix
On Friday at the Ynares Center-Antipolo, Phoenix battles Meralco, currently in fourth with a 4-5 mark.
The game isn't exactly a must-win, but the Fuel Masters can’t afford a loss which will bring them down to fourth with a 4-4 record, just one game ahead of Barangay Ginebra and Blackwater, both with 3-5 slates.
Coincidentally, Phoenix's assignment after that will be two days later against the Gin Kings, who are expected to play with a lot of sense of urgency with their backs against the wall.
The Fuel Masters then wrap up their elims campaign with another tough clash against the Elasto Painters on October 23.
