THE final day of eliminations in the PBA 50th Season Commissioner's Cup will finally settle the quarterfinals match-ups after a tightly-contested race for seedings.
The battles between Meralco vs. Magnolia then Barangay Ginebra against TNT, a rematch of last season's finals, on Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena all carry major implications on the standings.
Here are the four remaining scenarios that will determine where your favorite teams will stand come the quarters.
MERALCO WIN, GINEBRA WIN
Three teams will forge a tie for second-place in Meralco, Ginebra, and Rain or Shine. The Bolts take No. 2 thanks to their +14 point differential, followed by the Gin Kings (-3) and Elasto Painters (-17).
Three teams will also be deadlocked at sixth-place in Magnolia, Phoenix Super LPG, and TNT. The Hotshots will finish at No. 6 (+9), followed by the Fuel Masters (+6), and Tropang 5G (-15).
