SAN Miguel will officially play on Wednesday with a new import after Sheldon Mac passed the height limit on Tuesday.
The 31-year-old Mac stood at 6-foot-5 and five-eighths to pass the height limit by three-eighths and will officially come in as the Beermen's import for their game against NLEX replacing Jordan Adams.
The Beermen decided to replace Adams despite a relatively strong showing where he even scored 50 points against Blackwater in their second game of the conference.
After a brief stint in the NBA with the Washington Wizards during the 2016-17 season, Mac had stops in the G League with the Canton Charge and Stockton Kings.
Mac also had stints in Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Uruguay, and most recently in Puerto Rico with Santeros de Aguada.
The product of University of Miami-Florida was also named in the second team All-Atlantic Coast Conference in 2016.
The Beermen enter the NLEX game with a 3-2 win-loss record, but had a stretch of games where they lost two straight matches in Group B.
