SAN Miguel and Magnolia look to stay in the hunt as the PBA Commissioner’s Cup saemifinals resume on Wednesday at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The Beermen square off against Bay Area at 5:45 p.m. following their Game Four victory last Sunday as they hope to send the series into a deciding game after falling behind, 0-2.
The Hotshots eye a bounce-back win as they face Barangay Ginebra at 3 p.m.
See Paul Lee a gametime decision for Game Four, says Victolero
The Beermen and the Hotshots had contrasting fates in their previous matches. San Miguel defeated Bay Area, 98-96, to finally get a win after slipping into a 0-2 hole. Magnolia fell to Barangay Ginebra, 103-80, after missing Paul Lee in all but two minutes of Game Four due to a non-COVID illness.

San Miguel coach Leo Austria expressed confidence about their chances of overcoming their guest team rival.
“This is an indication that Bay Area is beatable,” said Austria.
Barangay Ginebra coach Tim Cone said Lee's status will definitely have an impact in Game Four, whether he will play or not.
Lee remains a gametime decision for Game Four but practiced during the build-up for Wednesday’s game.
“The injury to Paul Lee took the wind out of their sails. It's hard to make in-game adjustments like that when you lose your star player. And he really has been their star,” said Cone.
