SAN Miguel is looking good at getting a crack for second straight leg championship in the PBA 3x3 Third Conference Season 2.

The Beermen led the charge to Friday’s quarterfinals stage of Leg 2, completing a two-game sweep of Pool A at the end of Day 1 competitions.
Tonino Gonzaga again waxed hot in steering San Miguel to victories over Platinum Karaoke, 22-16, and former team Meralco, 21-18.
In the knockout stage, the Beermen though, have been drawn with dangerous Cavitex, which finished no. 2 in Pool C with an even 1-1 record.
Like San Miguel, also advancing to the next round with clean slates were J&T Express and Barangay Ginebra, respectively.
The Express downed Cavitex in a tightly-fought game, 19-18, and then followed it up by cruising past Terrafirma, 21-14, to top Pool C.
The Kings meanwhile, stunned TNT Tropang Giga, 21-20, and proceeded to defeat NorthPort, 21-18, in leading Pool D.
J&T will play Pool A no. 2 Meralco (1-1), while the Kings are up against Pool B second placer Purefoods TJ Titans (1-1).
Blackwater, Purefoods, and Pioneer Elastoseal ended up tied in Pool B with identical 1-1 records.
But the Red President and Titans advanced owing to higher tiebreak points.
Blackwater will meet TNT in the quarterfinals.
