Terrence Romeo is forced to sit out the game against his former team.

SAN Miguel seeks to extend its winning streak when it battles TNT on Sunday in the PBA Philippine Cup at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

The Beermen and the KaTropa battle in the second game of Sunday’s doubleheader at 6:45 p.m.

After suffering an upset loss to Columbian in its opener, SMB (2-1) is now looking to win its third straight game after posting a 105-93 victory over Meralco last Friday.

The Beermen have been winning even without Terrence Romeo, who suffered an ankle injury in the game against Columbian.

Romeo will not be able to suit up for San Miguel’s match against his former team TNT, which traded him during the offseason after less than one year with the KaTropa.

Marcio Lassiter has been a big reason for the Beermen’s rise, averaging 22 points in the three games.

TNT, on the other hand, is coming off an 85-80 win over NLEX, its first victory after dropping two straight games to start the conference.
