Two San Beda alums in Melo Lim and JB Sison have been added to Frankie Lim's coaching staff after NLEX let go of Ford Arao and Jigs Mendoza.
Melo is the son of Frankie, who also played under his dad and won championships during their time together at San Beda.

They become the second father and son tandem to work together as coaches in the PBA after Chot Reyes and son Josh at TNT, although the elder Reyes has since relinquished the post to Jojo Lastimosa to focus on his job as Gilas Pilipinas head coach.
There are also Norman and Aaron Black at Meralco, although they're together as player and coach.
Sison meanwhile, is a Red Lion through and through, having played high school and college ball in the Mendiola-based school.
He likewise served as a longtime deputy of the seniors’ team, including the time when Lim was at the helm from 2007 to 2012.
A third ex-San Beda player in Borgie Hermida is also part of the NLEX coaching staff, joining lead deputy Adonis Tierra, Emman Monfort, and Jaime Serrano.
Earlier, the Road Warriors acquired Jake Pascual, a former player of Lim at San Beda, in a three-team trade that also involved TNT and Phoenix.
Another Red Lion in Clint Doliguez was likewise signed to a contract for the Governors Cup as a free agent.
