TALK ‘N Text guard Ryan Reyes is happy to finally get his rhythm and confidence back after spending a huge part of the conference in the sidelines due to a recurring hamstring problem.

Reyes played his best game of the season on Friday night, hitting two big three-pointers in the endgame while playing tough defense on James Yap to help the Texters beat San Mig, 82-77, and send their PBA Philippine Cup quarterfinal playoff to a deciding game.

“The last game (Game One), I was coming from a long layover, but I’m good right now," The Texters guard said after scoring 13 points to go with four rebounds, three assists and two steals against San Mig.

"My injury’s good now, but just trying to get my wind back,” Reyes added.

The former California State University stalwart now hopes to sustain his resurgence in Game Three on Sunday at the Cuneta Astrodome, in the hope of keeping alive the Texters' quest for a fourth successive all-Filipino championship.
