IT proved to be a brief PBA finals comeback for Roger Pogoy.
TNT's two-way guard re-injured his hamstring and was declared out for the remainder of Game 4 of the PBA Philippine Cup finals against San Miguel on Wednesday night at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The 33-year-old Pogoy, the best perimeter defender of the Tropang 5G, aggravated his previous injury in the early 10:20 mark of the second period and his side up, 40-20, against the defending champions.

Pogoy appeared to have overstretched his hamstring while going for a steal against CJ Perez.
He had to be carried back by his teammates on the way to the TNT bench where he was attended by physical therapist Dexter Aseron.

Pogoy was later pronounced out for the rest of the game
Before hurting his hamstring anew, the former Far Eastern University standout was going great guns for the Tropang Giga, hitting both of his shots from three-point range to finish with six points, two rebounds, and an assist in just seven minutes of play.
The injury, which he suffered in Game 4 of the semis series against Meralco, forced Pogoy to sit out the first two games of the finals, before returning in Game 3 or earlier than his projected comeback
In the 95-89 loss, Pogoy finished with four points on 2-of-7 shooting and grabbed four rebounds as TNT fell to a 1-2 series deficit.
