RR Garcia conceded to the handles of Jayson Castro in one of the plays TNT Katropa can cheer on in its 111-98 loss to San Miguel Beer in Game One of their PBA Philippine Cup semifinal matchup on Wednesday night
Defending the Texters superstar on the right wing, the SMB guard saw 'The Blur' cross him over with an ankle-breaker in the second quarter, leaving him down on the floor and red-faced as Castro finished with a reverse layup.

“Parang napatid ako eh,” Garcia said in a short chat with SPIN.ph after the game. “Ganun naman talaga, syempre Jayson Castro yun. Magaling na magaling na point guard yun.”
“Siguro kailangan ko pa i-challenge yung sarili ko,” he added.

Good thing, Garcia had the last laugh as the Beermen rolled to the lopsided victory for a head start in the best-of-seven series.
Still, Garcia stressed the need to contain Castro, who finished with a game-high 27 points, eight assists, three steals, and two bards in 36 minutes off the bench.
“Kailangan namin magtulungan kung paano siya ma-stop,” Garcia said of Castro, who carried the Texters along with Kelly Williams, but found little help from their teammates.
“Syempre ngayon, satisfied kami kasi dalawa lang yung (gumawa),” Garcia said. “Siguro yung iba sa kanila, ready by next game, so ready rin kami para sa kanila.”
“Kahit quality minutes, ibibigay namin, lalo na si Gabby (Espinas), maganda din yung pinakita niya,” added Garcia, who finished with nine points, three boards, and one assist in 18 minutes off the bench.
