TOP rookie pick Roosevelt Adams is more than looking forward to finally join Terra Firma inside the Clark bubble.
The 22-year-old Fil-Am just finished doing his rehab and declared himself ready to get on board and help the Dyip in their Philippine Cup campaign.
In Roosevelt’s words, the Dyip will be a ‘very dangerous (team) this year.’
“We have a special group this year. We have good pieces, tough guys. We love to run, we can shoot,” he said Saturday as one of the guests in the Power&Play radio program of former PBA Commissioner Noli Eala.

“Speed of the game is the best for me and I believe I fit in perfectly (with the Dyip).”
Adams is expected to enter the bubble on the week leading to the season opener on Oct. 11 at the Angeles University Foundation.
He was selected No. 1 overall by Terra Firma in last year’s rookie draft, teaming up with 2019 Rookie of the Year sensation CJ Perez in a potentially explosive backcourt.

But Adams is not putting too much pressure on himself despite the high expectations.
“I’ll just play my game. No pressure at all,” he said. “I’ll just do everything whatever I need to do to help my team win. That’s my goal this year.”
He admitted excited to be in the bubble and get to join the entire team for the first time since March when the league went on a long break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I just want to see the guys again. Being reunited with them would be special,” said Adams.
